Project description:
We were commissioned to update Freising’s District Development Concept (Landkreisentwicklungskonzept Freising). Our data-driven approach established the surface area as a common denominator for negotiation in a multi-stakeholder process. Explored through 4 pillars – urban development, landscape, climate, and energy – we connected, analyzed, and visualized targets spatially to identify gaps, opportunities, and simulate development scenarios. This process carefully considered Freising’s development goals, accounting for their interdependencies, resource requirements, and spatial impacts.
