Pop-Up Campus

Climateflux, in cooperation with the Chair for Building Technology of RWTH Aachen University, will contribute to the Zukunft Bau PopUp Campus in Aachen, funded by the BBSR (Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung).

The initiative tests a new format to connect research to implementation through a participative method. During the next five months, the Zukunft Bau Pop-Up Campus will become an experimental space for enabling creative and practicable approaches to achieve climate neutrality in the built environment by 2045. Through the Climatewalks experiment and a workshop with the Aachen municipality and citizens, we will support understanding the interaction between the built environment and human ecology in the context of the climate emergency.
